My parents both coached soccer (not for me of course...they didn't start caring til my much younger sibs were playing, sigh) and yes, there were kids who weren't as talented but everyone got a chance to play...even if that meant the team might not win as a result.

Some grown-ups are just little kids in big bodies. All they care about is winning, right or wrong. Just a shame the kids have to suffer as a result.

Visiting from Shell's and offering you a hug!MrsJenBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10210080304270799102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3357165436688591089.post-73291773590893734992011-03-03T06:54:42.149-04:002011-03-03T06:54:42.149-04:00What is it with these coaches? I hope you share this with the coach or the league coordinators. I bet you're not the only one who feels this way.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12547679169487196540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3357165436688591089.post-88025487448159177612011-03-02T15:33:35.560-04:002011-03-02T15:33:35.560-04:00This is nonsense.

He's VERY sensitive to the players who aren't as "good" as the others. He puts them in whenever he can and makes sure they feel included in the team. In fact, he created an award at their basketball banquet for the kids who didn't play much but added wisdom and teamwork to the team.

thanks for visiting my blog today. The grass is always greener on the other side, that's for sure. we all face hardships and challenges as mothers...why can't we embrace that instead of making each other feel guilty?Amanda @ It's Blogworthyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14919340979575037179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3357165436688591089.post-66662725006656776802011-03-02T12:08:33.968-04:002011-03-02T12:08:33.968-04:00Oh, no! ...Oh, no! I hate that he is having that experience.

They are just kids- coaches should let them learn. Not having all the kids practice during practice??? That is ridiculous!!!Shellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06811697675090627618noreply@blogger.com
